Jess is a Kent State University graduate with a BA in Psychology and a minor in Justice Studies, and mental health has been the throughline of her career from the start. She began by supporting the mental health needs of state and federal inmates as a caseworker in a halfway house, then continued that work with Drug Court participants — roles that gave her a firsthand understanding of trauma, the mental health challenges tied to reentry, and the empathy required to support people through difficult circumstances. She later brought that same grounding into a children's psychiatry and psychology practice, working in intake and gaining direct experience with the clinical side of mental health care — how patients are welcomed in, and how a practice operates behind the scenes to support them. In 2022, Jess transitioned into work as a virtual assistant, and in 2023 she launched her own business. It was a natural next step: a way to stay connected to the mental health field, continue helping people in meaningful ways, and build a career that fit the life she wanted for her family. Today, Jess partners with mental health providers to manage the behind-the-scenes work that keeps a practice running smoothly — from patient inquiries and provider scheduling to billing support. She also works as a personal assistant, helping clients with the day-to-day personal tasks that free them up to focus on their work and their families. She brings the same empathy and reliability from her caseworker years to every client relationship, serving as a trustworthy extension of both the practices and the people she supports. Jess is passionate about the connection between mind and behavior — a fascination that became personal when she was diagnosed with ADHD and recognized her own neurodivergence later in life. That experience gave her a firsthand understanding of how minds can work differently, and it deepened her commitment to meeting people with patience, empathy, and without judgment. As she grows her business, she remains committed to the same thing that's driven her from the start: helping people, and using her own journey to make mental health care run a little more smoothly for the providers and patients who rely on it.

KATERINA WILLIAMS
Virtual Assistant
Accepting New Clients
Katerina is a friendly, organized, and dependable professional with a strong background in customer service and the beauty industry. With over 7 years of experience working in salons and client-focused environments, she has developed excellent communication, scheduling, organization, and multitasking skills — the same core skill set that makes her a fantastic virtual assistant today. Much of that foundation comes from managing the administrative backbone of a busy salon. Katerina ran the booking system — scheduling, rescheduling, and confirming appointments — while maintaining accurate client records and appointment notes, the kind of detail-oriented calendar and database management that translates directly into VA work. She served as a first point of contact, greeting clients, answering phones, and responding to messages promptly and professionally, and she handled payments and day-to-day operations with reliability, at times opening or closing the business on her own. She also managed inventory, tracked and organized incoming shipments, and helped promote services and specials through the salon's social media and marketing efforts — giving her hands-on experience with the kind of organizational and communication support businesses rely on a virtual assistant for. That breadth of experience taught her the importance of professionalism, attention to detail, and building strong client relationships — and how to create a positive experience for every person she works with. Katerina is excited to bring these administrative and client-service skills into her role as a virtual assistant, where her talent for staying organized, communicating clearly, and managing the moving pieces of a business's day-to-day operations helps things run smoothly behind the scenes. Outside of work, Katerina enjoys spending quality time with her family, shopping, and cuddling with her puppy, Oakley. She loves staying busy, spending time with the people she cares about, and enjoying the little things in life.
